Bridgton Academy provides a program for young men in a unique, one-year postgraduate environment to prepare for the rigors of college and beyond. Our mission is to help our students develop the academic skills, study skills, self-discipline, maturity and self-confidence necessary to succeed in college, rather than just to survive it. 

Academics

Students at Bridgton are striving for academic success. To that end, faculty and students work together to strengthen academic skills, to develop time management and organizational skills, and to improve self-discipline in order for students to meet the challenges of life both in college and beyond. The results of these efforts usually are greater self-confidence and maturity in our students as they conclude their year with us."
