Our Mission Boldly States:
"Carlisle School is an independent college preparatory school that provides a positive, safe environment for academic excellence and character development, while embracing diversity and preparing our students to become leaders as citizens in a global society."
In keeping with these words, Carlisle School promises all students in preschool through grade 12 a rich array of educational options. The school does its best to ensure parents that their child's potential is recognized and challenged. The school's core curriculum consists of English, history, mathematics, science, and foreign language with electives in most areas. Computer and science labs are a major part of everyday life.
Carlisle embraces the fundamental principles of international and intercultural literacy, holistic learning and education for character.

Philosophy
Carlisle School believes that the sharing of knowledge, the development of responsible and honorable behaviors, and the encouragement of lifelong learning are our primary goals. Carlisle provides a nurturing, positive, and safe environment in which everyone is treated with courtesy and respect and unafraid to take risks. We celebrate the uniqueness of every student. Our curriculum and instructional practices are designed to meet students’ individual physical, social, emotional, spiritual and intellectual needs.
As we prepare our students for higher education, we are also preparing them for life. Academically strong programs provide a forum of inquiry and opportunities for the development of critical thinking and reasoning skills. These are balanced by school-wide practices that foster personal integrity, mutual respect, development of self-esteem, and encourage diversity.
Character development, intellectual growth, and personal reflection are the business of everyone at Carlisle. Teachers, administrators, parents, and the larger community share our mission to produce knowledgeable, confident, and caring students who will be active and responsible communicators in the changing world.
