Darlington’s rigorous college-preparatory program is global in focus and personal in delivery. With students from 27 countries and 26 states, specialized athletic academies directed by world-class coaching staffs, a full orchestral program, and more than 80 leadership opportunities for students, Darlington emphasizes the pursuit of individual excellence in a diverse learning environment.
Founded in 1905, Darlington currently enrolls approximately 900 boarding and day students in grades PK-PG and maintains a student to faculty ratio of 13:1. The family like atmosphere at Darlington is the backbone of our program, and with 55 percent of faculty and staff living on campus, there is never a shortage of support. All teaching faculty members hold bachelor’s degrees, and more than half have advanced degrees.
