The Bolles School

The Bolles School Co-ed Boarding School Information:
About Us
The Bolles School is a private college preparatory school with an international reputation for excellence. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, the school enrolls more than 1,700 boarding and day students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 on four campuses.
Our students also learn the importance of self-discipline, respect, personal responsibility and compassion. These values, outlined in the Bolles Honor Code, are vital to campus life
Honor Code
"I will not lie, cheat or steal, nor tolerate anyone who does."
A student’s honor is a serious matter at Bolles and students are expected to be honest at all times. When a student violates the Honor Code at Bolles, he is sent to the Honor Council made up of students, who make a determination based upon evidence presented of the student’s innocence or guilt. Violation of the Honor Code can be grounds for dismissal from the school.
Values Statement
The Bolles Community strives to reflect in each of our lives respect for the individual. We embrace this philosophy and teach our students that a civilized culture (all that is truly great in human life – in art, in music, in literature, in science, and in technology) represents the achievements of honest, thoughtful, and often highly learned individuals. The sharing of ideas, ideals, and accomplishments with one another brings mutual respect and often mutual advantage. The success of such people develops highly desirable personal values such as generosity, honesty, hard work, sharing attitudes, high ethical standards, and pride in community.
We recognize the unique opportunity we have to encourage moral growth, and we believe these values reflect our shared philosophy:
- Respect—for the property and opinions of others
- Responsibility for ones actions—self discipline and accountability
- Hard Work—to achieve mental and physical excellence
- Concern for Others—especially for those less fortunate
-
Pride—in our community
Mission Statement
The Bolles School prepares students for college and life by inspiring achievement, integrity, confidence, and compassion in an academic community dedicated to nurturing mind, body, and soul.
Accordingly, Bolles provides an unequaled breadth of opportunities and experiences which enable every student to optimize his or her unique interests, abilities, and talents.
