The Hun School of Princeton

The Hun School of Princeton Co-Ed Boarding Information:
The Hun School Mission
The Hun School provides a diverse community that places a high value on a creative and rigorous traditional college preparatory curriculum in a structured environment; develops character, community and values; meets the students’ differing talents, interests and academic needs through a supportive staff in a variety of programs; and encourages students to widen their horizons, gain an appreciation for and an excitement about learning and achieve their full potential.
Any one of our current students or graduates could tell you different accounts of their experiences at The Hun School. Our history is made up of these tales resulting from learning and living in an environment where academic offerings, extracurricular activities, and athletics help realize the individual.
Sustainability Mission Statement
The Hun School of Princeton is dedicated to the stewardship of the environment. It is a commitment of the School that all members of its community have a literacy of and responsibility to sustainability. The School’s local actions and programs heighten global awareness ensuring the thorough enjoyment and preservation of the environment for future generations.
The Hun School advances sustainability on its campus and in its culture in several areas of the School’s operation: education and student involvement, resource use and recycling, energy consumption and generation, built environment, land use and landscape, transportation and finally, food. The Hun School of Princeton follows, to the best of its ability, the guidelines set forth in the United States Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) with the goal of obtaining some level of certification in future building development projects.
Sustainability therefore, is part of the best practices of The Hun School of Princeton.
